Ocean’s Thirteen Review: Hello! Well, as all of you know, Ocean’s Thirteen opened today and I imagine many of you have already seen it and have your own opinions but I will share mine. I loved Ocean’s Eleven. I think Ocean’s Twelve, had it not been compared to Ocean’s Eleven would have been better received. It wasn’t THAT bad. It was just completely different from the first one. All three movies are very smart. Ocean’s Thirteen was filmed beautifully. I love the way Soderbergh captures Las Vegas. The lighting he uses makes you feel like you’re there. I’ve never noticed that in any other film except for Ocean’s Eleven and now Thirteen.

I thought parts of the film at the beginning were a little slow and it wasn’t as funny as I expected it to be. But, I loved it! It was great fun. I think the humor was probably subtle and the more you see it, the more you get. I really liked the premise. If Julia Roberts had been in the film, I think I would have iked it as much as I liked Ocean’s Eleven. I really enjoy the dynamics between her and George. Ocean’s Thirteen is definitely a must see for the summer. It’s a lot of fun and you feel good when you leave. What more could you ask for? :-)
TV Alert: Jerry Weintraub will be on Jimmy Kimmel Live on June 14th
